Barry and I first saw Ernie Reynolds' work in the creation of a neighbor's garden. We had interviewed a number of landscape architects but after our first conversation with Ernie, we knew we had found just the right person to help us make our dream a reality. With only five feet of space from our home to our property line the challenges were many. Ernie and his staff were prompt and careful in their implementation of the garden, which included stonework as well as plantings. They were courteous and accomodating in dealing with our neighbors. We felt completely comfortable in having all his workmen here. Our granddaughter, who is shy around strangers, took to his workmen immediately and was completely at ease with their presence. Our neighbors were appreciative of his going above and beyond what was necessary to not encroach on their property. We had several changes midway through the project and Ernie and his staff were gracious and kind about the changes, seeming to really want this space to be what we wanted it to be. They therefore created a comfort level for us that allowed us to make those changes that the space seemed to dictate as the garden began to evolve.

Our garden was, in part, a memorial garden and Ernie's sensitivity to that fact along with his creativity in helping us achieve our goals are deeply appreciated and have resulted in a space that our friends ask to come spend time within. In such a small space each plant is important and Ernie's choices have created a simple and serene space.

After numerous home and garden renovations, we cannot stress how easy and wonderful our experience was with Ernie and each person with whom we dealt at Outdoor Classic Structures. We have recommended them to many friends and neighbors and look forward to future projects with Ernie.
